The Penelopiad
This is a book by Margaret Atwood that managed to sneak into the house (from Zooba, no less). I started reading it at lunch time yesterday and zipped through 65 pages. Like the other books by Atwood that I’ve read (The Handmaid’s Tale, The Blind Assassin and Oryx and Crake) it’s a fascinating look at life from a slightly different point of view… in this case, the story of Odysseus (hero of Homer’s Odyssey) told by his wife, Penelope.
And because it’s another book that found its way into my house, I need to go release another dozen books for Bookcrossing. Jolly good!
