Hate Crime
Moving on to more serious fare, I picked up another of William Bernhardt’s books. I’d already read a number of the Ben Kincaid series, and was not disappointed with the latest.
There are some crimes so heinous that we (the people) sometimes think the perpetrators don’t deserve to have a trial, let alone a really good lawyer to defend them. That’s not what we’re about as Americans, and Bernhardt tackles the subject matter well.
