Born Standing Up

Born standing UpOh yes… Steve Martin is a wild and crazy guy! But being a stand up comedian is darn hard work. Martin is brilliant, though, in the telling of his life story… from his childhood love of magic tricks to the peak of his comedic prowess. As it turns out, he’s quite the writer, as well, with Born Standing Up being just the latest of his offerings.

I’ve seen two of his plays performed by our local repertory theater — Picasso at the Lapin Agile and The Underpants — both of which were outstanding!

    See one of his plays, too, if you can. They’re funny, but very smart, too.
