I *am* way older than you. I was eight years old when the ORIGINAL Star Trek aired! I had a huge crush on Sulu. And Spock. I was part of the letter writing fandom that begged Paramount to bring Star Trek back. I went to Trekkie cons in high school (and beyond). I've watched all the incarnations of Star Trek, and TNG is my favorite. Once the cast melded and found their characters' voices, they were freakin' awesome. LOL That’s ok, Tina. I was only eight when TNG started. My little second grade girlfriends thought Wes was dreamy. It wasn't until I started reading Wil's blog that I found out how much Trekkies hated the boy genius. I've also watched a large number of episodes in the last year and, as a grown up, I find Wes more than a little irritating. Still, I can forgive him anything for making me less of a weirdo for loving Star Trek.
